First time buyer at Phill Smith Acura. As most know, the auto industry is in a precarious situation with inventory shortages extending well beyond what I had originally thought before getting into the market of buying a new vehicle. As a result, it’s definitely a sellers market and has certainly exposed the fact that not all dealers are created equal. My journey began November 2021 when I placed my original deposit for an Acura MDX type S before its release date at A different dealership. As weeks went by I noticed communication was poor from this dealership and their transparency surrounding my order led me to look elsewhere for an alternative. I contacted every Acura dealer south of Orlando to look for an alternative. Without exaggeration every other dealer with the exception in Phil Smith Acura gave me the runaround and generic responses. I’m someone that knows exactly what he wants and my order was no different. Others kept trying to sell me different vehicles that were on there lots or tried to convince me to settle with a different color combination and trim. My sales rep at Phil Smith, Andrew, was very knowledgeable, personable, and transparent. After some negotiation, Andrew was able to get approval for my exact order and gave me realistic time frames. He also kept me up-to-date throughout the coming months as Acura began manufacturing the type S. I can say I am very happy with the overall experience and the small details on the day of sale. Process was shorter than I am use to and included education on my new car. Honorable mention goes out to Terry as he helped out while Andrew was out on leave. He was very nice and patient with me. You can tell they care about each other and customers. I also had the opportunity to also work with Phil the GM as there was some last minute hiccups that he made sure to iron out personally. I would definitely recommend Phil Smith Acura to anyone looking for an above average purchasing experience.

Amazing suv…. Not the best car I’ve ever owned but best car I’ve ever driven, the mdx type S is something that has be experienced to enjoy. The 25 top of the line speakers the sport plus speed and handling not to mention the air shocks that can raise up to near 3 inches. It’s a dream and that’s not even mentioning the massage seats, Milano leather and air tight cabin. Ask for Chris or Carlton they will take very good care of you!! Just turned my lease in and purchased a new vehicle from Phil Smith Acura. I live on the west coast of Florida and negotiated my new vehicle over the phone. Andrew my sales rep was excellent to deal with and had basically everything prepared when I arrived. I was personally greeted by Phil the owner who was very accommodating. I went to Phil Smith to buy a used car for my daughter. She lives in Alabama and would be traveling there with it so we wanted something we could rely on. Sometimes hard find in used vehicles. I have to tell you how pleased I was at the attention given to my daughter and myself when it came to her. They truly cared about what they would sell her. And I don't mean by putting her in a more expensive vehicle. It was about the best vehicle at the best price that suited HER best. This was from the beginning of the process to the end and it was from the top brass to the finance guy. Phil Franchina, the general manager took the time to sit with us and listen. He treated us like family, showing genuine thought and appreciation to our needs. He worked with Emilio, our salesman to ensure we were shown the right vehicles and the finance rep (sorry I forgot his name) to make sure he found the best offer possible. And he worked for it and made it happen. Without a doubt, the best car buying experience I've ever had. I would highly recommend anyone looking to purchase a new or used car to come here. This was probably the smoothest and fastest process we have ever had when buying a car! The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable on the vehicles and process. From the salesman Louis to the finance manager Sam, they were so helpful and kind! The GM Phil was super cool too.
